Founded in Reims in 1760, Champagne Lanson is one of the oldest champagne houses in France. With over 260 years of history, Lanson stands for an unmistakable style that combines freshness, elegance and authenticity.
The grapes come from over 100 crus, including many Premier and Grand Cru sites. Particularly noteworthy is the Clos Lanson - a walled vineyard in the heart of Reims, which is used exclusively for the cuvée of the same name.
Lanson traditionally refrains from malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the natural freshness and lively acidity of the wines. The champagnes mature on the lees for at least four years, which gives them depth and complexity.
The striking black label of the Black Label and the Maltese cross logo symbolize the combination of tradition and modernity. The elegant bottles reflect the high quality of the contents.
Lanson is committed to sustainable wine production. The Le Green Label Organic comes from organic cultivation, and the company is committed to environmentally friendly packaging and local sourcing.
Lanson champagnes have received numerous awards, including 94 points from Bettane & Desseauve for Le Black Réserve and 92 points from Wine Spectator for Le Black Création.
