The Krispel winery is located in the heart of the Styrian volcanic region, in Hof near Straden. For two generations, the Krispel family has been producing wines of the highest quality that reflect the terroir of the region. Under the management of Stefan Krispel, wines of strong character are created that combine tradition and innovation.
With its mineral-rich soils and mild climate, Vulkanland Styria offers ideal conditions for viticulture. The vineyards of the winery, such as Neusetzberg, Hochstrandl and Rosenberg, produce wines with a unique profile.
The wines are vinified with great care, whereby attention is paid to hand-picking and gentle processing. Depending on the wine, ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels or in basalt stone, which gives the wines their special structure.
The modern appearance of the winery is also reflected in the bottle labels, which radiate clarity and elegance. The combination of tradition and contemporary design makes Krispel wines unmistakable.
The Krispel winery is certified sustainable and cultivates its own land organically (in conversion). From the 2023 vintage, all local and vineyard wines will carry the organic seal.
Krispel's wines have received several awards, including 95 points from Falstaff for the Grauburgunder Ried Neusetzberg and 94 points for the Sauvignon Blanc Ried Neusetzberg.
