In sunny Spain, south-east of Valencia, the Oria de Rueda family entered the popular silk business with great success at the end of the 19th century. Moving to the Spanish region of Utiel-Requena, in the interior of Valencia, the family switched their business from silk production to wine production in 1897 and founded their family-run winery Torre Oria.
The special altitude of the vines, between 650 and 905 meters above sea level, is one of the factors behind the outstanding quality of the grapes used. The sand and limestone soil and the climate influenced by the Mediterranean also play a decisive role for the selected grape varieties.
With its Aviva wine range, Torre Oria presents a new interpretation of sparkling wine that is both pleasing to the eye and the palate. The sparkling wine made from the sweet Mucato grape comes in the colors Aviva Gold, Aviva Pink Gold, Aviva Rose and Aviva Blue Sky. Thanks to its shimmering gold effect, this festive sparkling wine is an eye-catcher at any party! Ideally chilled at 8-10 °C, the light Aviva wine unfolds a taste experience from the Old World, which is rounded off by fresh tropical aromas of orange, physalis and pomelo.
