Zu damaliger Zeit war der Plantation Original Dark noch ein Trinidad&Jamaica Rum mit einem tollen Geschmack, es war gefühlt mehr Jamaica drin, also die leckere Bananennote kam sehr gut durch, auch der "Funk" den jamaicanischen Rums ausmachen war sehr viel stärker. Pur, oder in Longdrinks/Cocktails ein absoluter Genuss. Mittlerweile ist er leider zum Pinselreiniger mit Barbadosrum verkommen. Nichts mehr für mich und auch keinerlei Kaufempfehlung...

Über die Firma "Plantation Rum" kann man nie etwas schlechtes berichten. Die verstehen sehr viel vom Rum und holen sich nur das Beste ins Haus, der "Original Dark" ist ein Absoluter Pflicht Rum und für €13.- für jedermann bezahlbar.
Süßlicher Rum mit Aroma von Rosine, Banane und Vanille. Leicht Spritzig dennoch sehr mild und harmonisch. Langer Abgang, Toller Preis!!!
Zum mischen fast zu schade, aber für den Preis kann mann ihm überall verwenden, auch zum Kochen und Backen.
