Description
Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is part of the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of India's oldest industrial groups, based in the southern Indian city of Bangalore (known as the Silicon Valley of India).
Founded by the late Mr. Radhakrishna Jagdale in 1948, the group initially started as a small liquor blending and bottling plant. Mr. Jagdale's pioneering spirit and enterprise ensured that the group quickly specialized in nutritional supplements for athletes and animals, as well as water infrastructure services. Sales and assets grew until it established itself as one of the leading industrial companies in Karnataka.
In this bottling, the name says it all, as unpeated Indian barley is fused here with peated Scotch.
First, a seperarte 4 years long maturation takes place in bourbon barrels, after the marriage of the fusion matures for another 3 months in bourbon barrels.

It is the best single malt from India and one of the most awarded.
Gentle peat , alot of tropical fruits and rich maltiness comes together in this bottle of Fusion.

Ein Amrut Single Malt ist immer ein Erlebnis. Dieser "Fusion" hat reichlich Dörrfrüchte im Repertoire, dazu Nüsse und Schokolade, Parfüm. Unerhört reich und komplex duftend. Am Gaumen eine Granate! Trotz 50% rate ich ihn pur zu nehmen. Nicht trinken, sondern ertasten ;-)
