After temporarily ceasing production in 2015, The GlenDronach Revival Whisky is now making a triumphant return to the distillery's core range. This whisky embodies the unmistakable style of The GlenDronach and stands for the traditional craftsmanship that has characterized the distillery since its foundation.
Only carefully selected Spanish Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalusia are used to mature this fine single malt. These casks give the whisky its characteristic depth, complexity and rich aromas that fans of GlenDronach appreciate so much. The return of Revival to the range is a clear sign that the distillery is continuing to uphold its traditions while meeting the high demands of its aficionados.

Diesen soll es bald nicht mehr geben, deshalb noch einmal eine Flasche gekauft. Kommt zwar nicht an den Old-Style 15j. heran, den es vor Jahren einmal gab, aber auch dieser ist sehr gut trinkbar. Aus meiner Lieblingsdestille No.2.

Ein guter Whisky mit einer deutlichen Sherrynote aber ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Perfekt für die kalte Jahreszeit.
Ein weiteres Plus ist die fehlende Kältefiltration und der Verzicht auf Farbstoffe.
Nicht zu viel Wasser hinzufügen, wenn überhaupt.

Nachfolger des sehr bekannten 15 jährigen "The Glendronach 100% Sherry". Ein sehr dunkler, nicht gefärbter und mit starken 46 Volumenprozenten abgefüllter Malt, der durch seinen einzigartigen, vollmundigen Charakter hervorsticht. Im Geschmack durchzogen von Sherry und dunklen Früchten sowie einer fernen Note von Kaffee. Im Vergleich zum 12 jährigen Glendronach weniger süß und komplexer bzw. reifer. Eine Besonderheit dieses Malts ist ein deutliches Aroma von Rum, der sich beim Abgang auf der Zunge breit macht.
