Es heißt nicht umsonst, man liebt oder hasst ihn. Sehr viel Rauch, toller Geschmack. Ein wenig Wasser bringt ihn noch besser zur Geltung. Kein Whisky für Einsteiger.

Sehr guter Einstieg in das Universum von LAPHROAIG. Meereswürzig, torfig, medizinisch. Für meinen Geschmack aber zu einfach, um die echte Tiefe des LAPHROAIG zu ergründen. Gesagt wurde, dass man LAPHROAIG entweder liebt oder hasst. Ich liebe ihn! Allerdings in den gereifteren Versionen. Der 18 jährige ist für mich der beste Whisky dieses Planeten!

Am Gaumen und auf der Zunge angenehm mild und überraschend süß.
