Ardbeg Corryvreckan is an intense and powerful Islay single malt whisky with an impressive alcohol content of 57.1% vol. Named after the infamous Corryvreckan whirlpool, which is located north of Islay between the islands of Jura and Scarba, this whisky embodies the wild and untamed nature of the Scottish islands. The history of the distillery goes back a long way: whisky has been distilled here unofficially since 1794, before John McDougall officially founded Ardbeg in 1815.
