Viel Rauch, aber auch die typische Ardbeg Süße, machen diesen komplexen Whisky aus. Er hat dadurch nicht den typischen Krankenhaus Charakter wie bspw. ein Laphroaig. Obwohl nur 10 Jahre alt, hat er sehr viel Aroma. Preis leider etwas hoch...Ardbeg halt.

Nicht umsonst hat Michael Jacksons einer der profiliertesten Whisky Kenner, in diesem Islay Malt 87 von bei ihm höchst vergebenen 95 Punkten zugesprochen. Ein wie in der Verkosternotiz beschriebener Whisky der in keiner Whiskysammlung fehlen sollte.
