The Maker's Mark Kentucky Bourbon is handmade. For the production not as usual rye, but red winter wheat is used. In the oldest still operating bourbon distillery in the world, it is produced. During maturation, the barrels are moved and shifted by hand almost daily. The bottle labels are also printed and punched by hand and each bottle is individually dipped in the Maker's Mark wax.

Sehr guter Bourbon, vor allem für den Anfänger. Schmeckt durch den Weizen angenehm mild und ist für den Preis eigentlich nicht zu schlagen.
Sollte man def. mal probiert haben!

Guter Bourbon, eher mild und nicht besonders komplex, aber fein komponiert und harmonisch. Auch er hat den vielen Bourbons eigenen "Klebstoff"-Geschmack, aber er ist weniger stark bzw. um einiges angenehmer als z.B. der "Gentleman Jack". Etwas für Genießer, nichts für Angeber.

Trotz seiner 45% etwas zurückhaltend in der Nase. Am Gaumen breite Süße mit eher sanften, aber gut balancierten Bourbon-Aromen. Klar und sauber, zurückhaltend. Wer tieferen Bourbon Charakter sucht, ist mit einem Wild Turkey besser bedient.
