Hannes Reeh Merlot Unplugged is a full-bodied and expressive red wine made from 100% Merlot grapes. These come from 20-year-old vines cultivated in the vineyard of the renowned winemaker Hannes Reeh in the southern wine-growing region of Austria. The wine is vinified after spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, which gives it a particularly authentic, natural aroma. After a 6-week maceration period, the wine is matured in barriques to further develop its complexity and depth.
