Das Weingut Hannes Reeh befindet sich im renommierten Weinbaugebiet Andau, das sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Neusiedlersees befindet. Andau zählt mit 2400 Sonnenstunden zu den sonnenreichsten Regionen Österreichs und bietet ideale Bedingungen für den Weinbau. Seit 2007 trägt Hannes Reeh selbst die Verantwortung für die Vinifizierung seiner Weine. Die unermüdliche Zielstrebigkeit zeigt sich in jedem einzelnen seiner Weine, die den einzigartigen Charakter der Region widerspiegeln.
Unter dem Label Unplugged vinifiziert Hannes Reeh seine Weine ohne jegliche Schönung, Filtration oder technische Eingriffe, um das Terroir und die Rebsorte so authentisch wie möglich widerzuspiegeln. Dieser Ansatz sorgt für einen besonders reinen und unverfälschten Ausdruck der Cabernet Sauvignon-Traube, die unter den klimatischen Bedingungen des Neusiedlersees perfekt reift.
Die sandigen und schottrigen Böden der Region bieten ideale Voraussetzungen für den Anbau von Cabernet Sauvignon, während das pannonische Klima mit heißen Sommern und kühlen Nächten die Aromenentwicklung und Tanninstruktur begünstigt. Nach der Handlese erfolgt eine schonende Maischegärung, bevor der Wein in französischen Barriquefässern ausgebaut wird. Hier erhält er seine charakteristischen Röstaromen und eine elegante Balance zwischen Frucht und Holz.
Tasting notes:
Tiefdunkles Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen im Glas. In der Nase intensiv nach schwarzen Johannisbeeren, reifen Kirschen sowie dunklen Waldbeeren. Feine würzige Noten von Tabak, Zedernholz, dunkler Schokolade und einem Hauch von Vanille verleihen ihm zusätzliche Tiefe. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich dicht und vollmundig, mit markanten, aber geschmeidigen Tanninen und einer lebendigen Säure. Lang anhaltend im Abgang.

Hannes Reeh Cabernet Sauvignon Unplugged ist ein idealer Begleiter zu kräftigen Fleischgerichten wie gegrilltem Rinderfilet, geschmorter Lammkeule oder Wildgerichten mit würzigen Beilagen. Auch zu gereiftem Hartkäse wie Comté oder Parmesan passt er hervorragend.
