The vineyards are all located in the immediate vicinity of the winery and, together with partners, cover an area of 35 hectares. The grapes for the Platzer Welschriesling grow on medium-heavy, lime-free soils of igneous weathered rock, which gives the wine its distinctive freshness and fine minerality. The wine is matured classically in steel tanks to preserve the varietal aromas of the Welschriesling in their purity and expressiveness.
