For more than 600 years, the Antinori family has been involved in wine production, starting with Giovanni di Piero Antinori's admission to the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri in 1385. This tradition, which spans 26 generations, has always been led directly by the family, characterized by innovative choices with constant respect for tradition and origin.

The Pian delle Vigne winery was founded in 1995 and has been owned by the Antinori family since the beginning. Pian delle Vigne is an exquisite wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes that thrive on the clay and limestone soils of the region. After harvesting, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maceration lasting 15 days at a temperature of 28°C. The wine is then matured in oak barrels. The wine is then aged in oak barriques and for two years in large wooden barrels, followed by further refinement in the bottle. The wine is sealed with a natural cork and has an impressive ageing potential until 2037, when it can fully develop its complex aromas.
