Dieser Prozess umfasst die gezielte Auswahl von spezifischen Destillationen oder Chargen aus den Brennereien, eine akribische Verkostung jedes einzelnen Fasses und die ausschließliche Abfüllung der qualitativ besten Fässer aus jeder Charge.
Der 12-jährige Ardmore Vintage 100 Proof Edition #21 wurde in Second Fill Bourbonfässern gereift, die zuvor in einer renommierten Brennerei auf Islay verwendet wurden. Diese Fässer tragen dazu bei, den Whisky auf natürliche Weise zu veredeln, während sie subtile Einflüsse aus der vorherigen Lagerung einbringen. Der Whisky wurde mit einem beeindruckenden Alkoholgehalt von 57,1 % vol. abgefüllt und dabei ohne Farbstoffe und ohne Kühlfiltration belassen.
