Die Glenmorangie Destillerie, gegründet 1843 in den schottischen Highlands nahe Tain, ist berühmt für ihre exquisiten Single Malt Scotch Whiskys. Diese werden in den höchsten Brennblasen Schottlands destilliert, was zu einem besonders feinen und milden Destillat führt. Glenmorangie ist bekannt für seine innovative Fass-Finishing-Technik, die Whiskys in verschiedenen Fasstypen wie Port-, Sherry- und Weinfässern nachreift und ihnen eine einzigartige Geschmackstiefe verleiht.

Glenmorangie setzt auch stark auf Nachhaltigkeit, mit Initiativen zur Reduzierung von CO2-Emissionen und Wasserwiederverwendung, was die Destillerie nicht nur in der Whisky-Industrie, sondern auch in der globalen Spirituosenproduktion zu einem Vorreiter macht. Diese limitierte Auflage ist die fünfte Abfüllung der preisgekrönten "A Tale Of..."-Serie und zeugt von der grenzenlosen Kreativität der Highland Destillerie.

Um die süßesten und cremigsten Aromen von Glenmorangie zu entfalten, vereinten die Whiskymacher Single Malts, die in Fässern mit hohem Vanillingehalt sowie in Bourbonfässern gereift sind. Das Ergebnis: Eine köstliche Komposition aus Pfirsich Melba, Zitronensorbet, Vanille, Toffee und einem Hauch Kokos.

Ein wahrer Genuss für Liebhaber besonderer Whiskys mit einem Hauch von Eisdielen-Flair.

Tasting notes:

Farbe: Bronze.
Nase: Kandierte Orangenschalen, reife Pfirsiche, Kokosnüsse, Manuka-Honig, cremige Vanillesauce, Marzipan, Karamellbonbons, Gewürze.
Geschmack: Üppig, cremig, würzige Noten, Marzipan, Honigwaben, Gewürze wie Zimt, Ingwer und Muskatnüsse, Zitronen-Sorbet, Kokosraspeln.
Abgang: Lang anhaltend, kandierte Äpfel, süßes Popcorn, Hauch von Anis.
