MICHAEL Gelber Muskateller Ried Rosenberger Rosengarten Vulkanland Steiermark is an expressive, aromatic white wine that perfectly combines the special characteristics of its location with the typical grape variety of Gelber Muskateller. The grapes come from the unique Rosenberger Rosengarten vineyard, a small, picturesque plot surrounded by numerous roses. The soil of this special site consists of yellow sand with a thin layer of humus, which allows the grapes to develop an extraordinarily intense aroma.
The grapes were carefully harvested by hand on October 6, 2023 in order to preserve the freshness and aromas of the fully ripe grapes. The wine was then matured in steel tanks and aged on the fine lees, which gives it a fine creaminess and additional complexity. Thanks to its drinking potential of 3-5 years, it can be enjoyed young as well as gaining further expressiveness with a little ageing time. The wine is sealed with a natural cork to optimally preserve its fine aromas and allow it to mature naturally.
