The Perrier-Jouët champagne house, founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and his wife Rose-Adélaide Jouët, is one of the oldest and most prestigious houses in Champagne. The Belle Epoque bottle, designed in 1902 by renowned glassblower Émile Gallé, is a rare icon of the Perrier-Jouët Champagne House. With fewer than 30 vintages of this cuvée bottled, it was then as now a symbol of exclusivity and refinement.
In 2017, Perrier-Jouët expanded its range to include Blanc de Blancs, an exclusive cuvée made from pure Chardonnay grapes. The tradition of Blanc de Blancs began back in the 1920s, when Perrier-Jouët introduced a cuvée made from 100% Chardonnay - long before the term "Blanc de Blancs" became popular.
