MICHAEL Weißburgunder Vulkanland Steiermark is an expressive and elegant white wine that perfectly reflects the special characteristics of the Styrian volcanic region. The MICHAEL am Rosenberg winery focuses on the highest quality and sustainable cultivation in order to express the unique terroir in its wines. The 100% Pinot Blanc grapes for this vintage were carefully harvested by hand on 18.09.2022 and then matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and fruit aromas in the best possible way.
With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this Pinot Blanc is wonderfully balanced, with a fine structure and lively acidity. The targeted ageing in stainless steel tanks ensures a clear definition of fruit and an elegant, mineral note that is typical of the soils of the volcanic region of Styria. The wine is bottled with a screw cap to optimally preserve the freshness and quality and to enable uncomplicated handling.
Its cool, clear character makes it the ideal wine for social gatherings, relaxed summer evenings or elegant occasions.

Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections in the glass. The nose reveals a fruity bouquet with aromas of ripe apricots, yellow apples and fine citrus notes, complemented by subtle honey nuances and an elegant, nutty spiciness. On the palate, the wine is fresh, harmonious and multi-layered, with well-integrated acidity and a fine minerality that gives it a lively structure. The finish is long, soft and elegant, with a pleasant aftertaste of fruity and floral notes.
