In 1469, a young man began learning in Verrocchio's workshop, highlighting the importance of the teacher-pupil relationship. Today, such relationships are essential to unlocking potential in an information-rich world. Inspired by this dynamic, we launched the Apprentice project in Campbeltown to provide educational opportunities for young talent through Apprentice blended whisky, characterized by rich flavours and patient maturation.
The story illustrates the transformative power of these relationships, such as Verrocchio, who gave up painting after recognizing the talent of his apprentice Leonardo da Vinci.
