Die Geschichte von Meukow beginnt schon im 19. Jahrhundert. Auguste-Christophe und Gustav Meukow gründen das Unternehmen 1850 in Schlesien. Nach einiger Zeit übersiedeln die Brüder mit der Firma nach Cognac in Frankreich. Nach und nach wuchs der Familienbetrieb und wurde so zu einer weltweit anerkannten Marke. Seit 1979 ist Meukow Teil der Compagnie de Guyenne Family.
Nach der doppelten Destillation der Weine erfolgt die Reifung für mindestens 2 Jahren in Eichenfässern. Geschmeidigkeit, Kraft sowie Eleganz sind das Ergebnis einer raffinierten Mischung der Kellermeisterin Anne Sarteaux.
Tasting notes:
Farbe: Bernstein.
Nase: Frisch, Noten von Blumen, Fruchtnuancen, Holz.
Gaumen: Komplex, holzig, blumig, fruchtig, Holznuancen.
Abgang: Lang anhaltend.
