Yaku Wari presents itself as an innovative brand dedicated to handcrafted pot still rum from Ecuador. Both the distillation and maturation of this unique rum take place in the coastal province of Manabi in Ecuador, while bottling takes place in the EU, always without the addition of artificial coloring and without cold filtration.
Yaku Wari Cask No. 73 is made from the juice of Ecuadorian sugar cane. A careful fermentation phase of eight to nine days initiates the production process, followed by double distillation in traditional Alambik pot stills. The rum is then matured for seven years in virgin oak casks to develop its full spectrum of aromas before being bottled at cask strength to preserve the purity and intensity of the aromas.
