Characterized by its unique charisma and the combination of different aromas, the rum's unmistakable character is the result of several specific production processes.
Produced in Zacapa, Guatemala, the rum is based on a selection of individual distillates, which are first matured separately and then blended and further matured in different barrels.
This Zacapa solera process, together with the long maturation period, contributes to the refinement of the aromas and the distinctiveness of the rum.
Storage in oak barrels takes place at an altitude of around 2300 meters above sea level, where the rum is exposed to special climatic conditions that contribute to the quality and profile of Zacapa Centenario.
