After primary maturation, the Glenfiddich 21 Years Chinese New Year single malt Scotch whisky is transferred to specially selected rum casks that previously contained old Gran Reserva rum from the Caribbean. This additional maturation in rum casks gives this whisky a unique flavor nuance and clearly sets it apart from other whiskies.
