Anacaona was the female head of an indigenous people in what is now the Dominican Republic.
She was admired for her beauty and intelligence, and Anacaona was also known for her poems and ballads.
She was curious, open-minded and a role model for the people on the island of Hispaniola.
The Anacaona Gran Reserva Rum is inspired by her and is a blend of the best oak barrel rums from Santo Domingo.
Tasting notes:
Colour: gold.
Nose: fruity, fresh flowers, fresh pastry, notes of mead.
Taste: Grey pepper, sweet spiciness, honey.
Finish: Long lasting.
Ein schön goldiger Rum, passable Nase, geschmacklich aber sehr dünn und außer ein wenig Vanille und Süße, kaum Frucht oder Obst - dafür auch keine extreme Schärfe.
Leider - grundsätzlich hätte ich dieser Rum mehr verdient, aber so schnell er sich aufgrund der geringen Dichte entfaltet, so schnell ist er auch weg...
Was bleibt ist der Alkohol...
Es gibt um den Preis besseres.
Aber - zumindest weiß ich, dass ich ihn kein 2.x kaufen werde!
