Description
The Plantations Rums are no longer an insider tip. The excellent rums are mainly collected in the Caribbean and also in South America and then brought to France, where they receive their final touch. In Ars in France, the rum is subsequently stored for several months in small discarded oak cognac barrels. This type of aging is called "double aging", this technique was already used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The Plantation Rum O.F.T.D. Overproof Artisanal Rum is a blend of rums from Guyana, Jamaica and Barbados, which are bottled at 69% vol.
The abbreviation 'O.F.T.D.' stands for 'Old Fashioned Traditional Dark'.

Ich verwende diesen Rum zum mixen von aromatischen Rum-Cocktails und um meine Nachbarn mit nur 3 Cubra-Libre-Spezial Drinks in kürzester Zeit hinzurichten.

Da bekommt man wirklich viel (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes) für sein Geld. Zum Pur Trinken wohl eine Spur zu stark, aber riecht sehr sanft und lecker (Karamel?)
