Ein sehr interessanter und unvergleichbarer Whisky. Es stimmt, dass der Rumfasseinfluss wohl sehr dominant ist, aber gerade deshalb kauft man sich doch auch einen Whisky, der eben derart nachgelagert wurde und als solches angepriesen wird. Nase: würzig, süss, Rum deutlich wahrnehmbar. Geschmack: mild, süss, würzig, relativ komplex, schöne Fusion aus Whisky und Rum. Abgang: lang.
Fazit: außergewöhnlich, angenehm, hält was er verspricht, der beste kanadische Vertreter den ich kenne (heißt nicht soviel) Für einen 10 jährigen mit deutlich merkbaren Rum Finish bemerkenswert gutes PLV Verhältnis.

Furchtbarer Fehlgriff. Das Rumfass dominiert völlig, in einer Blindverkostung würde dieser Cornwhisky als (bottom shelf) Rum durchgehen.
